Terms, policies and conditions

This is our guide explaining everything you need to know. It is our aim to make our policies easy to understand. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us via email or by phone.

1.Enrolment of my child in Nashville Children’s Art Classes is a 9 month commitment, and it is my responsibility to be prompt in drop-off and pick-up of my child.

2. Fees due at registration. A $30 non-refundable registration fee and a yearly (one time) art supply and art show fee of $110 for a total of $140

3.Tuition of $94 is due on the 1st of each month and is LATE after the 10th of the month and will incur a late fee of $10 at the time. Monthly tuition can be paid online with a Card on our website or with a check made out to Nashville Children’s Art Classes.  A transaction fee will be added to credit/debit card payments.

4. First month’s tuition is due at the first class of the year.

5. It is your responsibility to attend classes. No refunds can be made for classes that are missed as we will simply not be able to keep our doors open. We have open studio Saturdays on every last Saturday of the month. This means your child has 10 free classes available to make up a missed lesson. Please check the calendar for Open studio dates.

6. All classes will meet at Historic Nolensville School, 7248 Nolensville Rd, Nolensville, TN. We are meeting in the cafeteria in the back of the building and we use the back door for entrance.

7. All weather-related closings will be posted on our  Facebook page and via group text. If you have missed a class because of in-climate weather we will work with you to make that class up.

8. Please see our calendar for our holidays.

9. If you child is unhappy for any reason please let us know as soon as possible so that we can address the issues. We are committed to working with every child and want all our student to be happy. We like to take a proactive approach and resolve issues promptly. It is our aim to make each class enjoyable even when it is at time challenging projects.

10. Why a 9 month commitment?
*The lessons are designed to build on each other. So quitting gives you an incomplete art course.
*Your seat could have been filled with a committed student on the waiting list.
*You’ll make new friends. Growing together in artistic skill, creativity and imagination is awesome, and leaving your class means you’ll miss out on this unique experience.
*Often time artists are sensitive. We do not always feel creative or like it is fun, yet pushing past those creative blocks are part of growing as an artist. Learning to work through these creative droughts can be critical for future enjoyment of making art.
*Students usually sign up for these types of classes at the beginning of the year and it is hard to fill up empty seats later in the year. We operate on a tight budget with classes that are filled up.

That is why we ask for a commitment from our families. Your commitment will give us the opportunity to work with your child. We are committed to make the course as great as we can in every way.

We however do understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur that lead to cancellation of class. Please TALK to us and discuss the situation before you make the final decision.
